So, I just recieved my screenplay for the Half Life movie back with a nice accepted letter on the cover (too bad it's not a stamp. So that means I have until July to get filming and post production finished. Then have it sent off to Seattle Washington. THe good thing is that in August we get to travel to the awards to see who won.
I heard there is an interesting Zelda movie that is going to be in the contest.

Returning with Ruminations
Today I did my usual foraging through the reliable news sources (Google News, Pitch Blog, The Onion) to find an interesting story. Low and behold I found something interesting.
"Campaign finance reports from Maine show that a Kansas Catholic organization headed by Kansas City, Kansas, Archbishop Joseph Naumann was among the largest private contributors to repealing gay marriage in Maine."-The Pitch Blog
Now the thing that I ask is What happened to Seperation of Church and State? And when things like this happen why are we not taxing the churches. When you decide to send money help politics then you should be helping in ALL aspects.
Now before I continue I want to make clear that this is not my Atheism speaking but me putting my ideals aside to bring an argument.
It was released that Naumann gave $10K to the Maine anti same sex marriage front.
To my Catholic readers out there I want you to reply to this question. Is it right for Church organizations to donate huge amounts of money to political organizations while being Tax exempt?

Torri Higginson Celebrates her birthday!
She was born in Burlington, Ontario, Canada, and is most well-known for her roles in the TekWar movies and series, The English Patient and Stargate Atlantis. She is also a theater actress and has appeared in Three Tall Women, Weldon Rising and Picasso at the Lapin Agile.
Higginson took over the role of Dr. Elizabeth Weir from Jessica Steen in a guest spot on the season eight opener of Stargate SG-1. She was then carried over as the leader of the Atlantis expedition on Stargate Atlantis and continued playing that role through the show's fourth season, though reduced from a main cast member to a recurring role in the fourth season. She did not reprise the role for the show's fifth season.
Higginson was once linked romantically to Paul Raven of the band Killing Joke and also (at a different time) to John Kastner of the Canadian rock band Doughboys. Her younger brother Luke is lead singer of the Toronto band Debaser.
In 1995, two years prior to Stargate SG-1's premiere, Higginson starred in the 1995 movie Jungleground with three other actors from the Stargate franchise: Peter Williams (Apophis), JR Bourne (Martouf), and Lexa Doig (Dr. Lam).

Laptops: What is new?
Wednesday and Thursday USD 500 handed out laptops to students for the Laptops for Learning program. Other than my new casing on mine (I miss the burrito stains) some things have changed.
The most apparent is the Widget application. For those of you who do not know, widgets are an Apple application that allows you to access personalized information and hold information. There are hundreds of widgets available online at the Apple website. But unbeknownst to me it apparently is unfit for access. Of course there will be a follow up as I get more information.
Not New news
The application Schoolhouse still does not work. Of course this would be a good tool for students as it is an assignment tracker, agenda, and teacher connect. Very good for students, if it worked. it seems that USD 500 still worries more about blocking websites for money than getting applications to run.

Another hip hip hooray for (Amanda) Tapping's birthday.
After graduation Tapping continued to study theatrical arts while performing in several stage productions. She appeared in several television commercials and played a variety of roles in television and film productions, such as The Outer Limits and The X-Files. She also formed a comedy troupe, the "Random Acts", with collaborators Katherine Jackson and Anne Marie Kerr, in Toronto in the early 90s[3].
Tapping is best known for her portrayal of Samantha Carter in the science fiction television series Stargate SG-1, which debuted in 1997. After SG1 aired its final episode, Tapping reprised the role of Samantha Carter on Stargate Atlantis as the new commander of the Atlantis expedition.[4]. In season five however, Tapping's role on the show was reduced to that of "special guest-star" with only occasional appearances[5] due to Tapping choosing to focus her attention on the development of a new series for the SCI FI Channel called Sanctuary. The show consisted of 13 episodes which expanded on an original show released on the internet in 2007 as a series of eight "webisodes", where the bulk of the scenery and characters are entirely green screen and CGI creations. Tapping serves as both star and executive producer of the show.
In 2007, Tapping won a Canadian Comedy Award for Best Actress for her role in the short film Breakdown.

Comic Con for me
I did not attend Comic Con 2009 of course but I did keep my eyes and ears at the ready to hear what is being announced. this is to highlight what I am excited about for the coming future.Stargate Universe
Before I was skeptic as to whether Stargate Universe would help the franchise or hurt it. During Comic Con two trailers were released showing different sides of the show. Both have now strengthened my resolve in the series being the best that we have seen.
Alice In Wonderland
Tim Burton announced and released concept art pretty recently of his latest remake. Alice In Wonderland. The good thing is at Comic Con, there was a trailer. after seeing the trailer I am sure that it wil be awesome and I will be attending opening night.
Avatar
James Cameron finally did it. Avatar The Last Airbender has finally been announced as a movie production. I myself have not been big into the Avatar show But I am excited to see how he does it.
Honorable mentions
These following showcases are somewhat important to me but are not huge announcements.
District 9
THis tale of Alien refugees that are detained by the government. It's like the whole civil rights thing ever again. Ever since the early announcments last fall I have been keeping my eyes open for any District 9 news.
Ben 10: Alien Force
Season 3 is on its way this fall. It has been confirmed at this years Comic Con. The most popular Cartoon Network franchise since the Code lyoko series will be recieving a third season set to air sometime this fall.
Caprica
The only reason this one is getting mentioned is because of the release date change. When the trailer premiered during the Battlestar Galactica finale this show created a lot of buzz especially pertaining to the effect on the BSG storyline. it was originally set for spring/summer 2010 it has had its date moved to January 22, 2010.

Happy Birthday To Me
I want to say happy 18th birthday to myself.
It is pretty straight foreword.
I want to thank my mom for going through the nine months of pregnancy to have me. not to mention the 2 false labors and the 26 hours of labor.
i was a pain even before i was born.

Chris Drummond: One Day
The world may need to watch out for Indie artists. They are on the rise and Kansas City musician Chris Drummond is no different.
High school student Chris Drummond has always loved music. He started out early as a member of a KC garage band named Thunder Muffin. After a few steady years Chris broke off and went solo for a while. Although this is usually how a music career can end it was just the beginning of the Newest Chapter:
One day is the first album made by Chris and he is very proud of it. The entire 10 minute album was made on one day. And that was not just the recording. Writing to completion it was a one day test to see if it could happen. And it did.
The first track on the album, "Piranhaz" reminds me of the Dawn Landes song "Straight Lines" in the fact that both have an Indie sound to it and that is what Attracted me. Other than that it is a mellow song and sets a tone for most of the album.
The rest of the album has a similar sound to it. The songs are pretty mellow until you get to the track "Fuck Drugs". This is more of a quickstep song about how to say no to drugs. (Maybe the AD council and the DEA need to play this song)
In short: This is a wonderful 10 minutes of your life and sets the bar for Indie/Garage bands very high. You can e-mail Chris Drummond at drummerboy45884@yahoo.com
(Note: Ask him if he still has the song "Space Cows" it is an awesome song)

Happy Birthday Morena
Today is Morena Baccarin's birthday!
Baccarin landed her first movie role in the improvised fashion world comedy Perfume (2001). This was followed by a lead role in the film festival hit Way Off Broadway (2001). Shortly before moving to Los Angeles, Baccarin appeared with Natalie Portman and understudied for her role in the acclaimed Central Park production of The Seagull. The science fiction drama Firefly was Baccarin's first television show, and she reprised her role in the 2005 film Serenity.
In February 2005, Baccarin provided the voice for Black Canary in multiple episodes of the animated series Justice League Unlimited. She also guest starred in two episodes of the television series The O.C. in 2006. Morena also acted in an unaired pilot episode of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, playing Carmen, a male-to-female transsexual. The episode was never aired on television, as it was used simply to pitch the show to FX executives. The scene is available on the Seasons 1 & 2 DVD release of the show. Interestingly, Glenn Howertonof It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia fame, would later appear in a minor role in the Joss Whedon film, Serenity, also starring Baccarin.
In April 2006, it was announced that Morena would be playing the adult version of Adria, a recurring villain in the tenth season of Stargate SG-1. She first appeared in season 10 episode"Counterstrike" as adult Adria (the younger versions of Adria were previously played by other actresses). She appeared on the November 6, 2006, broadcast of How I Met Your Mother; Barney, whom she mistakenly calls "Swarley" (portrayed by Neil Patrick Harris), commented that her character had "crazy eyes." On December 22, 2006, she appeared in a supporting role as Lisa Cruz on Justice, the FOX network television show. On February 16, 2007, she appeared in an episode of Las Vegas as Sara Samari. On April 6, 2008, Baccarin appeared in an episode of Dirt as a Hollywood actress. Morena reprises her role as Adria in the movie Stargate: The Ark of Truth.

School Loop shows the full intelligence of Wyandotte
As part of USD 500 trying to get the parents involved in schoolwork and for kids to keep track of their grades the district invested in the website School Loop . THis was a great investment and it has been very good for students who want to keep track of their work.
Unfortunately lately it has been used to pass notices about some things that people really do not care about. That is not even the worst part. The worst? Grammer and typing. Anyone who knows me knows that I do not like text talk, numbers in place of letters and other things like that.
WAT YALL THINK ABOUT SGN, TEZ, 100 BOYZ,GERRY ,QUES PERFORM AT THE AWARD ASSEMBLY TO LET PPL KNOW WE OUT HERE MAN FO REAL IM DIGGN IT SO WAT YALL THINK YEP!!!!!!!!!!!! MAN FO REAL WE CAN PULL THIS OFF MAN FO REAL IF WE DO I LET ALL YALL KNOW !!!!!!!!!!!
I have no clue what this means. not only is it missing crucial parts needed in a full sentence I am all ready to call this another language.
WE GOTTA SHW THESE PPL UP HERE AT THE DOTTE DAT THE CLASS OF 10 IZ THE ISH REAL TALK SO WAT DAT B LIKE !!!!!!!!!!!!
If this is a message to represent my graduating class then I am going to fail and see if the Class of 2011 is any smarter.
does any body take steriods
I don't think anyone would admit to that.
Here is the thing. people criticize us about being poor in our education standards, we try to prove them wrong. The good thing is that the outside world cannot see this.

My Beef With The Swine Flu Fearers
I want to say something to you. IT IS THE FLU. It is like any other flu. it comes it passes. The only reason we make a big deal about it is the Media is making a big deal over a small outbreak in MEXICO. This may sound a little racist but these things happen in poor un-industrialized countries. the reason there is a problem there is that there are not proper medical facilities to handle this. So my message to you all is just treat it like any other flu. you bring back the plague then I will be a little concerned. This is a great quote from MSNBC It used to be that viruses were named for places. The 1918 pandemic was called “Spanish Flu.“ Such names lead to discrimination. But I think we can stop worrying about this outbreak of swine flu
The reason I bring this up is that I have had 3 letters from school talking about it
1) General information about the Swine Flu
2) A reported case in Wyandotte County
3) A sibling of a student in WHS might have it.

200 Posts
What is to come?
That is a good question.
Labels
When I started blogging I was against labels. I thought it would clutter up the blog and lose readers. After considering it I have decided to include labels into my posts. I will spend the next few days adding labels to the past 200 posts of mine. They will be simple one word labels. Kind of like categories.
I might lose the .blogspot
Ok. this has been something that I have wanted to do. Now I know how cheap it is to lose it i will consider it. Of course i will let everyone know if it happens.
Guest posts
I want to start having guest posts on the blog. Other people have plenty of things to say but they don't have the medium to say it. They also don't want to start a blog for the One Thing. So I am going to open up my blog for people to send in things to talk about.
that is all so far. I will of course let you know that other thing will be happening.

I Do Not Approve
Jay Leno, You are a decent comedian and an interesting TV personality. I like to check in on your Late Show from time to time. I do not however approve of you taking over the Primetime airwaves Every night. You will in fact destroy Some shows that Thrived for a while. Chuck. The show that I love and would hate to see leave is now in danger by your show. Other good shows like this will fall because there is not and open time slot. I am disappointed in you Jay Leno. Perhaps your show will get cancelled before it even starts.

Good News For the Gay Community
Popular SCI FI's new franchise Stargate Universe has broken the boundaries that that Stargate Franchise said it would never go into.
Stargate Universe will have Gay characters.
“There are at least one and potentially more gay characters on Universe,” Cooper said in answer to a fan’s question. Wright stated, “There’s actually two.”
One that we know of right now is Camille Way (Ming-Na).
I have to say this is an interesting direction for the franchise to go. Stargate usually wanted to keep something like this off of the show due to the fact that it would stir up too much of a social debate. Even though Science Fiction has always been an outlet for social and political issues I am led to wonder whether Cooper and Wright are making the correct decision.
“This goes towards our goal to make the characters on Universe as complex and complicated and realistic and identifiable as we can, to as many people as we can,” Cooper said. “And that’s not just a desire for ratings. That’s the desire to portray humanity, and make a show that is saying something about who we are.”
It seems though that fans are not as excited as was planned. For such a liberal franchise Stargate seems to draw in many social conservative viewers. some even said that due to this they would probably not watch the show, neither will their family.
I of course, a social liberal and loyal democrat will watch Stargate Underground. It is still Stargate and it is living up to it's job as a Science Fiction show to present us with the issues we are facing today.

USD 500: What Really Grinds My Gears
I thought the title appropraite for the things that the School district is doing at this current time.
As if blocking every website known to man want enough of a problem USD 500 is finding it funny to crash students hard drives now.
That is what happened to me last evening. I was doing what I usually do, Looking at videos, checking e-mail and putting together the magazine. all of a sudden the cursor does the spinny pinwheel thing that it does when applications do not respond. After shutting down the computer for like 5-10 minutes i turned it on but it would not boot the OS. I thought that this may be a one time error so i proceeded to shut it down and try again. After 10 times i figured that there was a hard drive error. (partially due to the fact I head a funny noise coming from the hard drive)
I proceeded to take the laptop apart. I know that the Gods at USD 500 Office would frown upon that but I am more qulified than the Pong players at USD 500's IT offices. n the middle of the operation I called my comrade David to see if he knows what is going on. To my surprise he was having the same problem as well.
After calling various students from Various High schools in the school district I realized that this was not localized and it all had the same constant, We were connected to the internet.
When the laptops are connected to the internet the School District can do anything they want to it. This includes security upgrades, file deleting, even frying the hard drive. When the laptop program was announced the IT department could GPS track any laptop any time. If it was stolen they could track it and fry the hard drive remotely.
So i now know what they did. I now have a spare computer and it sucks.

Tricia Helfer's Birthday today!
Happy Birthday Tricia Helfer!
While working in New York as a model, Helfer hosted a Canadian television fashion program Ooh La La. She relocated to Los Angeles in 2002 to pursue a full-time film career. In 2002, Helfer played the female lead, Eva, in the independent film White Rush. In 2003, Helfer was chosen to play Number Six on Battlestar Galactica
In 2004, Helfer played Farrah Fawcett in the NBC telemovie Behind the Camera: The Unauthorized Story of 'Charlie's Angels'.[4] Concurrent with her role in Battlestar Galactica, Helfer began producing and hosting Canada's Next Top Model on May 31, 2006. In 2006, Helfer appeared in the motion picturesSpiral and The Green Chain.
In October 2006, it was announced that Helfer would not return to host the second season of Canada's Next Top Model in order to concentrate on her work on Battlestar Galactica.[5] Helfer also played a major role in Electronic Arts Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars, as the high-level Nod general Kilian Qatar, along with her Battlestar Galactica co-star, Grace Park.[6] She also starred in the episode "Roadkill" on the second season of the American paranormal drama TV series Supernatural.

Time to Party like it's 2002!!!
We just purchased the Galidor DVD's. Woo hoo!
We had a little snag though. When I made an offer It was rejected. ergo my ability to purchase said item was banned. but me being the industrious little son of a b17ch I am i had a second account just in case something like this happened. Since Californians are not known for their brains no one will know.

Waiting..... Waiting......
Today was my day to shine. Get the Galidor: Defenders Of The Outer Dimension DVD's from iOffer . I would then proceed to get them and nerd out like it was 2002. But alas Mon Pere is stonewalling again. He is not realizing that iOffer has the only copies of Galidor on DVD. He of course promised that we would get them today. (And I knew it) It ain't gonna happen.

My Favorite Anime Of All Time
Zatch Bell . I don;t know what drew me in to liking it but I just did. Ever since I saw it on Cartoon Network I was impressed with the show and the story. For those of you who don't know what it is
One hundred mamodo go to Earth every 1,000 years to battle to be the king of the mamodo world. Each mamodo has a particular element which it can control and attack with, a set of body supporting spells, and other spells (e.g. a defensive spell), all via the use of a special spell book. Each mamodo needs a human partner in order to use his or her spell book, and if his or her spell book is burned, the mamodo is forced to return to the mamodo world. While the spells in each book typically are different for each mamodo, there are mamodo that share spells. The human and their mamodo gain these spells through experience. Each spell book is a different color. The last mamodo standing without their book burnt is the new mamodo king.
The main human character, Kiyo Takamine, is a 14-year old boy in junior high school. His father, Seitaro Takamine, discovers an unconscious mamodo named Zatch Bell while in a forest in England. His father sends the mamodo to be Kiyo's mentor. Unlike the other mamodo, Zatch lost his memory of the mamodo world. Kiyo and Zatch are now caught up in the battle to be the king of the mamodos. SMS Cultural Exchange canceled
For any Wyandotte STUCO member who reads this you can blame our President, Darrian Porter. The last few days for STUCO Darrian has been MIA for 99% of the meeting on Monday. for the 1% he shows up for at the end of the meeting he acts like he is the boss of everything and he was present at the meeting the entire time.
Today Shawnee Mission South's Student Council was supposed to come today to view our school. Unfortuantely Darrian slacked off again and did not make a plan that our building principal asked for. Darrian was too intrested in slacking of in school, playing with his cell phone and acting stupid around his friends. I told out STUCO adviser that I would make the plan so the SMS kids could come next week.
Does this sound like a leader to you?

I told out STUCO adviser that I would make the plan so the SMS kids could come next week.

Blog Idea?
What is your high school like? That is a question i receive a lot these days. What happens in the "hallowed" hall of your high school?
Become the official blogger of your high school! talk about the crazy, the boring, and the weird that goes on in the place that you call home (or jail, or hell) for 7-8 hours a day.

Not All Family Guy Episodes Hold Up
I am not a Family Guy fanatic. I like the show and I wonder what the next great joke is going to be.
I was disappointed though due to the episode was advetrtised as being highly Star Trek. It was a perfect opportunity to make fun of Star Trek nerds and just Star Trek in general. It seemed that the episode should have been advertised for Brian being an Atheist. But FOX and the internet made a bigger deal out of the cast of Star Trek The Next Generation guest starring.

Bloglist updates
To avoid making my blog longer than it already is I am going to be putting a 1 month dead limit on the bloggers on my list. I have many people I follow and I want people to read their blogs too. but many have not blogged in a while. So if it does reach a month then I will delete you off of the blog list. The Only exception to this is if you are a follower. Then you will stay on indefinitely.
Banner?
Why am I using My original Banner? I have received e-mails the last couple days asking me why I am doing this. I can assure you it is not permanent. I am just having a creativity block. I will have a new one up soon I hope.

First Time
I don't know if this is a woo hoo kind of first time or an oh no kind of first time.
There is a dog that lives on the adjacent street from me. and on that street there is a maniac psycho dog. (beagle by the way) and for a few years that dog would chase us down the street until we got home. This dog is nuts. Iguess the third year is the tipping point. The reason?
I was again walking home tonight (about an hour ago) and the beagle was harassing a stray cat. I thought "Oh good. in Safe for now." Letting my guard down was the wrong thing to do.
Tonight is the first time in the 17 years of my life that I have been bitten by a dog. Why am I posting? because it seems like the proper thing to do. This dog is truly a menace to society and I am tired of it. I am calling our usless Animal control and having that dog removed.
Above: The bite that the dog gave me.

Nature Wasted It's time
Next time Mother Nature wants to make a snowstorm she might want to consider having it around for a few days.
As I am sure my KC readers know we had quite the snow yesterday. The weather was crazy. But I get up this morning and the snow is already melting.
Now I would think that if we really wanted the snow to count then it should stick around?
hmmm.....

To Prove My Point On Rappers
Rapper TI was sentenced today for possessing machine guns and silencers. His sentence was One year. I will drop the gang name and use his real name, Clifford Harris.
Harris went touring around the US talking about the dangers of Gangs, drugs and violence. Cliff was convicted in 1998 for possession of crack cocaine. This conviction made it impossible for him to possess a gun. So what does a criminal superstar do? Possess some pretty crazy guns and don't forget silencers.
I guess that you could blame many factors. But I will continue to have my "rappers are nothing but trouble" belief. This thing is just going to be a piece of evidence for me.

March Snow is not cool.
I am not going to like all this snow that is coming tomorrow. even though I will not be going outside or leaving my house I do not want the snow. Why!? Why cant I enjoy my March in peace and relative warmth. Damn you nature!
I want to thank Plog for calling this the Snowpocalypse. I completely agree.

I Would Hate To Be The UPS Guy In This.
The vatican will be receiving condoms next Friday as part of a protest started due to Pope Benedict's comments about condom use in Africa.
The comment was a condemnation of using condoms to stem the spread of AIDS.
After that Facebook groups started popping up saying that they would send condoms to Pope benedict in protest. Yes I did join the group. German publications stated that there is an estimated 5 million condoms to be sent.

Journalism
I am officially bowing out of the field of journalism. I feel that I have lost all touch in the field and I have no future in writing the news. Of course i will still have the blog and I will highlight things that are going on that I think are important but as far as writing news stories I am done with that. I am going to focus all of my energy on film and being the best I can be at that.
What were THEY Thinking?
I noticed this slow shift many many many years ago during the showing of the movie Osmosis Jones . This was the first major step that Cartoon network had made to switch.
I heard an announcement a week or so ago about the Ben 10 franchise making a second live action film. My response was Ok, they did well with Ben 10: Race Against Time so I guess I could trust this one. (More posts as evolution of the movie occurs)
So I ask you this CN. Are you really going to destroy your reputation of being an all cartoon network just so you can make a few shows that are going to fail in a year or so?

Public Schools are the Loony Bin For Educators
I can't say much for Private schools but it is true for Public schools. Anyone who has attended a public school can vouch for the fact that there is at least one teacher in your classes that is a little, well, nuts. In the next coupe of days I will have a video posted that will prove my point. The video is of Mrs. Pattison, a science teacher at Wyandotte High School.

Stargate Fans Seems Almost Evenly Divided About Stargate Universe
That is what MGM's post trailer poll is showing.

MGM's website poll for Stargate Universe seems to show that Fan's reaction from the trailer is what I had expected. The problem with the poll is that there is no section for people to comment on what there exact thoughts are.

Labels?
I am considering adding labels to the blog. I have originally been opposed to it but now I can see the usage of it if I keep the categories simple.

Networks rolling out show cancellations
Tis the season for show cancellations. Networks have been releasing early renewal and early cancellation reports. ABC announced that Ugly Betty is on a early renewal schedule. Unfortunatley for Life On Mars the show was cancelled due to low second season ratings. Some bittersweet news for Friday Night Lights fans, the show is seeing a possible 2 seasons left. The show has been renewed for another season but NBC is considering ending the show.
Some sad news. CBS is undergoing cost cutting and attempting to be more cost efficient, so the network has officially called out Cold Case and Without A Trace. "Cold Case and Without A Trace no longer have the type of rating's that justify the massive overhead" a source told Entertainment Weekly.
The producers of Chuck is getting nervous due to the drop in hype the show got when it first came out. Some of the problem is the fact that Chuck seems to be trying not to recycle some old material and controlling their jokes more. The actors are now traveling across the country to recruit more viewers.
Kath And Kim Is being described as on "Life Support". No kidding. the show started out way too soft to make any big appearance. This sitcom lacked originality and comedy. Rumors are saying that when the cancellation renewal list comes out it will be the one that is on the cancellation list.
Keep it right here to see any news about cancellations and renewals.

New Section
The Loser of the month idea did not go over very well because I was accused of being too Left in my choices. SO I have decided something new that might be better than the other section.
Censorship in the web is becoming a very big problem. My school district (KCK USD 500 ) is showing that blocking can go overboard. Almost everything is now blocked.
This section will not show my views very often but will show the views of other people that I know. Some who want to tell their stories about the blocking and some who want to voice their opinions for or against.
I also urge the School districts to send me a message about their views on the subject.
If anyone comes up on a site that is blocked, please send me an e-mail with the screen cap of the blocked site.

By Friday I Will Be Fat
Friday if you look at my banner is the release of both Protector and Stargate Underground . I have been working on Protector since November and Stargate Underground for the last two years. I am excited and anxious for the release.
My method of coping with the anxiety? Eating.
My college kid eating habits kick into overdrive when something like this happens. Meaning? I will not be surprised if i roll out of bed looking like Adam Sandler in the movie Click . Even though I know that it probably will not happen but just think. Me, fat?

Dollhouse
About a week ago the TV show Dollhouse premiered on FOX. I was not planing on seeing it but after all of the attention that the show was getting I decided to watch it. My opinion is that for the pilot I was not disappointed and I was not impressed.
It made it seem that they were trying to throw together a good pilot without thinking everything through. They presented some of the characters pretty well but could have done with a better explination of what the Dollhouse is. maybe a tour or something would be nice.
I definitely will check it out some more and i will see what else is offered.

I love twitter, the only thing I do not like is the fact that it is blocked on my school computer so i cannot really access it. but here is a savage chickens that I think would describe me very well.
Savage Chickens
This is probably my most favorite cartoon in the entire world. The cartoon is written on a yellow sticky not and it features chickens doing all kinds of crazy stuff. here is a sample of one I really like. It is the alternate ending to The Terminator.
Finally Got Through Ravenwood
Last Christmas I got the game Half Life 2 for my X-Box. it is a pretty good game. The only gripe i have with it is the fact that it is long!!!
Ravenwood, is a town in Half Life that was overrun by headcrabs and the Combine.
Ravenwood is about the halfway mark in Half Life. The catch is that I started the game on Christmas day.

One Thing I Could Do Without Hearing
The octuplets.
its true. ever since they were born its all people can talk about. I have to say i was never interested in the story and never will.
now it seems that there will be some foreclosures happening to them. no surprise. I mean seriously. you have that many kids and you expect to be the richest people around?
all i have to say on that subject.

90-95% work
That is what i get out of my group in video production. Thats at least for the ones that show up. i have to say i am happy about it but I would really like them to be able to play after we get a project finished.
Our silent film is due today and we have to re-film it all in 45 Minutes!!!! it is a 3-4 minute video but it is still pretty long filming it.
I guess you could call it crunch time. And having one of the actors be absent did not help our situation at all. When we finish it i am going to post it on youtube for all to see.
we shall see what happens.

Valentines Day Reflection
The One Thing I love about Valentines Day is the fact that throught my history is I was never chosen as someones valentine. I know that many may think that “This is horrible! How coud that be?!” it is pretty simple. While everyone is around with their “Valentine” I was able to be alone and pursue my own path. This usually ment writing and not doing homework.
Now I do have a Valentine and I am happy about it I still liked the fact that On Valentines Day I long for the simplicity that was being single During Valentines Day.

Permanent Lockdown?
That is what Students are feeling at Wyandotte High School.
Monday Afternoon there was a shooting in the KCK community near ME Pearson Elementary at which time one of the Wyandotte students was injured. We of course are praying for the student.
We are of course paying attention to the impact to the effect it will have on the community. In reaction to the event on Monday there are new security measures in place.
- An additional security officer will be present in the building.
- The sign in procedure has changed and become more detailed.
- The door security has improved.
- The security cameras that did not work now do and there is a monitor in the office that faces the secretaries.
- The school has now increased their ties with the community.
But this morning there has been increased inquiry into the students having their ID's.
Because of some of the new security measures some of the students are actually feeling that the school is under permanent lockdown. Rumors have even surfaced. Some of which has scared some students. The rumor is that if a student is caught without an ID then the Security Officers have the ability to arrest you for trespassing.
After asking if any of the various rumors were true I was assured that it would never happen and that it goes against Wyandotte's belief system. The belief system is that everyone is part of the community. even faculty and students.
Passes that were given out pretty freely are now restricted to emergencies.
But what effect will this have on the library? The ability to go to the library outside of lunch time and before and after school is getting a pass from you teacher.
Could the Wyandotte school area be in danger? Wyandotte has received threats in the past but after recent events students are feeling scared to come to school. There apparently has been a couple of tips that a school shooting might happen on Friday and possibly sometime next week.
Students are afraid to come to school on Friday and with good reason. Another issue is that the Winter Formal dance is Saturday. Even with the increased security there is still a possible chance that something might happen.
So the answer is that it is just heightened security, not a permanent lockdown.
