AG says He Will Act Soon

Illinois' attorney general on Thursday threatened to go to the state Supreme Court to have embattled Gov. Rod Blagojevichdeclared unfit to hold office if he doesn't resign soon or get impeached by the Legislature.
Hours later, Blagojevich went to work in his Chicago office without commenting, giving no sign of heeding calls for his resignation. "He's working," said spokeswoman Kelley Quinn.
Blagojevich was arrested Tuesday on charges of scheming to enrich himself by selling Obama's open seat for cash or a lucrative job for himself. The governor, out on bail, has authority to appoint the replacement.
