Stargate Universe to air final 10 In March

Syfy announced that Stargate Universe, the third canon installment of Stargate, will air the final 10 episodes on March 7th at 10/9c after Being Human. After that the gate will close.

At least in the series sense.

Joseph Mallozzi (Pictured) stated on his blog that all hope for a third season is pretty much over. Instead they are looking into producing movies to finish off the series.

Keep a third season in the back burner. you have TEN episodes in a less competitive timeslot to air. There is some turnaround ability. Movies would be nice but I am still waiting on the new SG-1 movie and the first Atlantis movie, so I am not keeping my hopes up.
